In my effort to increase my capacity to offer a high quality computer science program I discovered Krause Center for Innovation (KCI). KCI is located near Silicon Valley in Northern California. One good thing about Covid is that there were a lot of online professional development around that time. Because of that, I was able to receive training in Maker Education and earned MakerSpace Certification at my own expense. In the certification process I had access and exposure to physical computing which is what my goal was in order to increase my capacity and in turn, share what I’ve learned with my students and broaden the scope of my program.
